Well Done Michelle Lynn for making this sequel just as brilliant as book one Don't Let Go. I was eagerly waiting for this book and it did not disappoint. Michelle's writing sucks you in and doesn't let go until the final page.Jessa and Grant are characters that I really enjoyed. They are both strong, independent, caring and easy to identify with. Jessa is more of a free spirit with her tattoo's, piercings and short rock chick hairstyle and uncertain plans for the future. While Grant is more your All-American, frat boy, wholesome looking guy who has his plans set for where he wants to go and what he wants to achieve. Their differences only make them more perfect for each other.
There is an instant connection between the two, but with Jessa being with Rob, Grant refuses to be the type of guy who steals another man's girl. After a brief but steamy encounter their feelings only intensify and when Rob up and leaves everything is thrown up in the air.
Jessa and Grant both have pasts that haunt them. When they finally get together it's perfect and their chemistry is amazing but it takes time for them to completely confide in each other. It was fantastic watching both characters grow and develop, and to take what they wanted and deserved.
There was so many things that I really loved about this story....
* Their group of friends are all back and provide the perfect support system for them both.
* Trey's brotherly relationship with Jessa was really great and I loved their witty banter.
* Their bet and their antics to be the winner.
* The way Jessa's father questioned both of them and their answers. Jessa really has the best parents and family support.
AND without a doubt...
* Grant's letters from his mum. This was such a beautiful thing to add to the storyline and showed the deep connection he had with her. The last letter and how, when and where it was opened had me reaching for the tissues. You could feel the love pouring for the words.
Two books into the series and I have loved both. The characters are great and the stories are real. I can't wait for book three to watch the transformation of Trey and to reconnect with the whole gang. I highly recommend you meet and experience The Invisibles.

Let Me In The Invisibles Grant Jessa edition by Michelle Lynn Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I liked the story well enough but I think it just drug out too long. All the H/h did was have sex. I didn't read much about them actually going out on dates. For someone that went through what she did, Jessa was rather bold when it came to sex. I'm not sure I care to read any more of the series. I guess YA is just not a genre I care for.
I loved Don't Let Go in this series and had to read the next book. And I'm so glad that I did. I love Grant and Jessa. Grant appears to be the clean-cut Frat boy and Jess appears to be the tattooed, pierced, wild girl. You would not think that these two would belong together, but they do. Grant's mother died when he was 14 years old and his father closed off completely. Jessa has a wonderful family that loves her but she had a boyfriend back in Colorado that destroyed her trust and a good part of her life. Jessa is with Rob in the beginning of this book but he doesn't treat her right and he cheats whenever he can. She finally realizes that she isn't meant to be with Rob and that she should give Grant a chance.
These two realize that things work better and they are happier when they give the other their hearts and let each other in. I really like this series and I'll look forward to the next book.
5++ read. I enjoyed Brady & Sadie's story, but I LOVED Grant & Jessa's! Full on, mad crush LOVE. Again, we have two characters who have secrets in their pasts, things they don't feel they can share right away, things they're unsure of the other's reaction to. But they don't actively try to hide these things, they both know there is something the other needs to share, and they each give the other time to do so. Grant finds out part of Jessa's secret via a third party, but he doesn't over-react. Jessa is supportive & encouraging with Grant's secret. And their love for each other pretty much bleeds off the page. )
This series is continuing w/ Trey's story next, and I am super excited to read it! I hope that it continues in the similar writing style/story style, because the cadence of Michelle's writing is highly enjoyable for me. This book & Don't Let Go are going on my keeper re-read shelf, and will be go-to books for sure!
Wow
Never thought that this 2nd book
Would be as good as the 1st book with Brady and Sadie (The invisible series)
But it is...
Tessa has a past and insecurities that would have anyone doubt themselves ..
And is with someone she just thought ,she wanted to be with ... but her heart has her longing
For the Grant...since the first time they meet.
Grant has the same feeling, and will not be second choice ...
Also Brady and Grant share a friendship that ended 6 years ago but it's still there
Such sad And sweet friendship..even though they are guys...
The story has many twist Nd turns and really come full circle
From friends to family ,to family they lost , to the letters left behind, so precious and dear ...
It makes you cry happy tears...the love of a mother
Can't wait to read the next in the series <3
For me, having correct grammar and spelling go a long way so I’ve rated based on that. There was also some sentences that seems quite choppy and didn’t flow well.
I cringe that the author/her editor do not know the difference between there, their, and they’re; opting to use they’re for all.
And Grant grew up with the Carstens (not Carsten’s) and the kids were going to the Carstens’ house (again, not Carsten’s).
I think there is a good story line and character development but agree with another reviewer that for what happened to Jessa her sexual boldness was surprising.
